The guest speaker for the occassion, the Rev. Dr. Gloria M. Tucker, who was accompanied by her husband, Elder Darlingston Tucker encouraged the mission workers and volunteers to be appreaciative of what God is doing and love one another.

She spoke to the gathering from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-18 "And we beseech you brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. Now we exalt you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient to toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man, but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything, give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you".

Dr. Tucker encouraged the volunteers to continue to serve God with their whole hearts through what they have been called to do. The occassion was followed by a thanksgiving dinner during which Dr. Ndorleh and the Program Coordinator, Evalynna Senneh served the youths, the volunteers, church members and the program guests.
